- Media Companies: Businesses built around distribution and advertising. Streaming, audio networks, sports and live media, digital publishers, and the ad platforms, rights holders, and licensing operations that make it work.
- Creative Agencies & Brand Studios: Shops doing real work for clients across brand, content, design, and marketing campaigns. Find collaborators who understand the pressure of delivering great work on someone else's timeline.
- Tech Companies: Startups and growth stage businesses building cutting edge products, platforms, and infrastructure. If you're serious about what you're building, you'll find peers here who are too.

Meet Our Head of Community, Jess
At Resident Chelsea, our dedicated community management team ensures you're set up for success from day one in Flatiron's premier business environment. Need help navigating the neighborhood, connecting with other members, or optimizing your workspace setup? Our Head of Community, Jess Casale, is your direct line to everything you need to thrive in Manhattan's most dynamic district.
Jess is an empathetic leader who makes every resident feel at home from the moment they walk in. She’s intentional about cultivating a work environment that blends productivity with genuine human connection, ensuring the space remains vibrant, welcoming, and energizing. Jess goes beyond surface-level interactions. She takes the time to understand each member’s work style, preferences, and goals, helping curate meaningful connections and an atmosphere where people naturally thrive together.
We Hire Top 1% Community Managers
We hire community managers the way most companies hire executives. Selectively, and with compensation that reflects it. But the real filter for us isn't a resume. It's whether the work is an extension of who they are. The people we hire notice when someone's having a rough week. They remember who you're trying to meet. They connect two members over lunch without being asked, because that's how they're already wired. You can't train that, and you can't fake it. It's why the experience here feels different from the moment you walk in.
Culture & Energy
Our community managers do more than answer requests. They set the tone of the space. They know who you are and what you're working on, start the conversations that turn other residents into collaborators, and bring the kind of energy that makes people want to be here. The culture of this club runs through them.
Member Introductions
Our Community Managers create meaningful connections by introducing members with complementary business needs and career goals. We don’t force them as we understand the right introduction has to be at the right time in the right place. Our goal is to identify strategic partnership opportunities based on your industry, skills, and objectives.
Elevating Member Experience
Most coworking spaces have a policy for everything. You ask for something and get a version of "that's not how we do things here." We take the opposite approach. Our community managers listen and figure out how to make it happen. Feeling sick? We’ll call you an Uber. Have important client meeting? We’ll greet them as VIPs to make you look good.
Amenity Management
We manage every workspace detail with hospitality-focused service. From office design and setup to booking meeting rooms, reserving conference spaces, and coordinating professional events, we handle all scheduling and logistics. Your work environment and all coworking amenities are maintained to support maximum productivity.

Meet our artist, Anastasiya
Chelsea has been the center of New York's art world for decades. Over 200 galleries sit within a few blocks of our building, and that's not a coincidence of real estate. It's what gives this neighborhood its character.
We wanted that inside the space, not just outside the window. Our Artist in Residence program gives one NYC-based artist a home for their work on our walls, and gives our members something better to look at than corporate art bought by the square foot.
Anastasiya Zimina is our first. Her work will live throughout the Chelsea club, and we'll host an opening when we open our doors.

- Why Does Resident Require an Application?
Our application process ensures that our community managers facilitate enriching and productive experiences for all members. While other coworking spaces in Manhattan open their doors to anyone, our goal is to curate an exclusive community of like-minded builders and investors. Our members embrace a give-first mindset and actively contribute to each other's success.
- How Does Resident Build Community?
Our structured networking and member engagement programs develop an environment where collaboration and relationship-building happens organically. Our community team hosts exclusive networking events such as poker nights, whiskey tastings, Jeffersonian dinners, offsite happy hours, or midnight jams that have enabled members who are joined by the same values and goals to form strategic partnerships, launch collaborations, and secure investments. These connections have led to strategic partnerships, new collaborations, and direct investments.

Resident offers a variety of membership options with flexible pricing plans for businesses in Chelsea.
